Sometimes challenges can be large enough to warrant a little extra help. Available 24/7, the Optum EAP provides confidential help when you need it most and offers quick access to experts who can help you with a wide range of well-being and family support services.

And all of the EAP providers are in network with UnitedHealthcare, so you can make the most out of your benefits!

How it works

Included is EIGHT free visits per issue, per year. You will receive in-person and/or telephonic/virtual support with master's-level licensed counselors for a variety of issues.

  • Legal and mediation services: Free 30-minute telephonic or in-person consultation per issue and ongoing representation by attorney at a 24% discount for divorce/separation, child custody, will preparation, estate settlement, consumer disputes, collections and more.
  • Childcare - Childcare referrals, support for topics including parenting, child development, special needs, blended families, help for teens, and more.
  • Convenience services including household services, travel, restaurants, shopping, and community events.

  • Help you find an eldercare facility - one which provides quality care for your loved one - can greatly contribute to your ability to address the needs and concerns of all involved.
