Overview
We're here to make the employment and income verification process as simple as possible. Lumen uses VeriSafeJobs to securely provide verification information for retirees/former employees. The details below explain what you'll need and how to complete the process.
Before you begin, please have the following information ready:
- Company code: LUMEN
- Your residential zip code
- Your social security number
Option 1: If an agency or verifier is requesting information
If you signed a borrower’s authorization or consent form as part of a loan, rental, or other application, the agency or verifier can request your employment or income verification directly through VeriSafeJobs.
- Ask the verifier to register at verisafejobs.com/. They will need your residential ZIP code and Social Security number to complete the request.
- After the verifier registers and uploads your signed consent form, VeriSafeJobs will send them a PIN to complete the verification request.
- The verification remains active for one year from the signature date. You may update or remove it at any time.
Option 2: If you want to create your own VeriSafeJobs account
You can also create a VeriSafeJobs account and generate a PIN to share with verifiers. You may download a verification for your own records, but please note that agencies may not accept a retiree/former employee-provided verification form.
- Visit myaccount.verisafejobs.com/register-employee.html
- Follow the steps to create a U.S. account using your personal email address. Be sure to check your inbox or spam folder for the account activation link, then select the link to confirm your account.
- After your account is active, sign in at myaccount.verisafejobs.com/signin. You'll verify your identity using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) with a one-time passcode sent to your email.
