Overview

FMLA Definition (FMLA): FMLA provides job-protected leaves of absence for up to 12 work weeks (generally 480 hours) per leave year for eligible employees due to employee’s own OR family member’s serious health condition, birth or placement of child, or needs related to a family members active duty or call covered active duty in military.
